We stopped by Kanpai before a show downtown in may. The food was fantastic and a very fair price! A nice cold Sapporo, shrimp toast, and sushi hit the spot. Good atmosphere with the K-pop and decorations as well!.

This restaurant offers a fantastic ambiance and excellent service, paired with exquisite and delicious food. I highly recommend trying the spicy tuna sushi roll, it's incredibly scrumptious! We had a wonderful night here! Oh, make sure to order drinks 10 above to get the deals on sushi rolls

Kanpai reminds me of a bar in Asia - complete with kareoke, cold beer and a variety of Asian food, such a Taiwanese chicken wings, takoyaki, sesame balls, sushi and sashimi. The bubble cocktails were so much fun and matched the aesthetic of the decor. The owner and staff were friendly and the service was terrific. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Newly opened for lunch ! I had to try this! Quite hype space, usually caters late nighters and party goers. You can definitely feel the vibe, tv screens with latest asians music videos, fancy neon lights and plenty of snacks and drinks. That being said, I went for lunch ! It was calm, staff was very kind and welcoming. I didn’t go for the lunch special, I got myself a chicken karaage. It was a bit dry to my taste but nevertheless I was conquered by the place, as I eyeballed some lunch specials the table next to me ordered and I am attracted to their snacks and drinks. Will definitely be back for the vibe and more !

Totally cool little place to meet up with my friends to enjoy a few drinks and a variety of Asian tapas (snack foods) or bubble tea. Perfect to chill after watching a show across the street at the Royal Theater! A bonus is they open till late midnight when there is not much options downtown for anything Asian!

Authentic atmosphere with k-pop music and unique asthetic. The food is very good and fair prices. They have a killer happy hour and lunch special. Love love this little gem

This place was AWESOME! we were heading to a different restaurant Chinatown but saw this place while walking by and decided to check it out. The atmosphere was so cool and the food was AMAZING! I don't know why this place wasn't packed but I highly recommend you check it out. We tried the squid, spicy tuna sashimi and a couple bowls of ramen. All it it was absolutely perfect. Happy hour had 3.50 beers which were served in chilled glasses and will quench your thirst
